At our first event in 2022, we wanted to support a charity that had a genuine connection to the hobby. The mental health charity ‘Mind’ was suggested, and after speaking with fellow reefers, it quickly became clear that many people turn to reef keeping as a way to escape the pressures of everyday life.

During the event, several people came up to say what a great cause it was to support, sharing how the hobby had helped them through difficult times.
